Many ways to the cloud at Cloud Expo Europe
Cloud Expo Europe is one of Europe’s best-attended technology trade shows, attracting over 18,500 technology buyers and influencers – which is why we’re so excited to be exhibiting again at Stand 380.
Taking place on March 15-16, the overall event also includes Cloud Security Expo, Big Data World, Smart IoT London and Data Centre World at London ExCel. The variety of topics being discussed under one roof, coupled with the attendance of the biggest industry players, makes the event a must for business and IT leaders exploring how technology can drive business goals and innovation. As sponsors of the Cloud Expo Keynote Theatre though, you can probably guess that it’s managed cloud solutions that Navisite is most excited to talk to visitors about.
The Navisite team and I are looking forward to welcoming prospective clients and partners to our stand to discuss managed multicloud; where our Alert Logic partners will be joining us to discuss cloud security; specialists will be on hand to dive into backup and business continuity in the cloud; and Tyler Murphy from Proofpoint is pairing up with our own managed Office 365 expert, Duncan MacDonald, to discuss managed Office 365 solutions. You’ll also be able to take a completely different type of cloud journey, by trying out the VR Wing Suit Flight kit to become a Cloud Superhero.
That said, what I’m looking forward to the most is the packed programme of industry keynotes and panel discussions.
Of particular note is Director of IT at the National Theatre, Jon Cheyne’s, talk on “Arts in the Cloud” – which will take place in the Keynote Theatre on 15th March at 11:15. Here, Jon gives an inside look at one of the UK’s most prominent arts institution's journey to transformation and explains how the cloud has become essential to the cultural organisation.
I’m also delighted to have been given the chance to present a session in the Keynote Theatre on “Multicloud – Practical Use Cases” at 13:45 on the 16th of March; and to be part of the panel on “Multicloud – Trends for the future” at 13:55 on the 15th of March. On this panel, I’ll be joining representatives from the Cloud Industry Forum, VMware, Microsoft, Commvault and Alert Logic to discuss the benefits of multicloud models, management challenges and strategies for securing these platforms.
Registration in advance is free so there’s really no reason to not join us at ExCel.
