Meet the Team: Introducing Rob Roache

We’re excited to have added another new, experienced face to our team: Rob Roache, Group Vice President, Navisite and System Integrator Sales. Rob is responsible for the leadership and management of all direct Navisite sales and account management activities and also oversees our system integrator and channel sales team and strategy.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with Rob to learn a bit more about what makes him tick in the office and at home.
SS: Great to have you join the team! Could you tell me a bit more about your background?
Rob Roache: Over the past 25 years I’ve had the opportunity to hold a number of sales and management roles in the business communications industry. Most recently, I served as Regional Vice President of Global Sales at a technology company, where I oversaw a sales and support team of over 500 business professionals. My focus was on global segments for the Western region of the United States, so I’m excited to have a more bi-coastal and even international opportunity here at Navisite!
SS: Sounds like you’ve been busy over the last quarter century! So, what brought you to Navisite?
Rob Roache: I’ve always been impressed with Navisite’s commitment to delivering customized cloud offerings to its clients. The company’s core value proposition – enabling greater efficiency and speed-to-market – is designed to help clients unlock the full potential of their business. To me, the success of a business is best measured by the praise of its clients and Navisite is continually applauded for its unwavering commitment to providing a unified and customized experience, particularly in an industry which continues to transform on a daily basis. In just my short time with the company, I’m finding the innovation driven culture contagious.
SS: Speaking of culture, what do you look for in a team?
Rob Roache: My leadership style is focused on creativity. I believe each member of the team has something unique to offer and I try to foster ingenuity for the greater good of the business. Agility is also important. A team that is nimble and operates as a unit is able to more rapidly drive transformation and respond to the changing client needs and technology of today. This is critical in the fast-paced world of cloud.
SS: Completely agree. “Tech” is not always synonymous with creativity, but it’s an important trait in this space! When you aren’t leading your team, what are can you be found doing outside the office?
Rob Roache: When I’m not in the office, I’m off enjoying live shows and sporting events with my family. We love rock and alternative live music concerts and festivals, but aren’t afraid to try something new. As for sports? Go Mariners and Seahawks! The energy at a live show or game simply can’t be matched by music streaming or TV! I also love to travel. From the beaches of Maui to the city streets of Vancouver or sunsets in Mexico, I always try to take time to learn more about other places, people and things.
SS: Seems like you thrive in high-energy environments!
Rob Roache: Absolutely! That’s why I’m so excited to be here. Business is moving fast and Navisite is helping organizations across all industries to keep pace with this evolution. It’s an exciting time in cloud and we’re empowering teams to become more digital, connected and innovative.
