Thankful for Cloud Client Feedback
In my work life, I have a lot to be thankful for and at the centre of it all is our clients. To succeed in business you need to help your clients achieve greatness and the more you know them, the easier it becomes to service their needs.
This year, Navisite launched the Proximity Client Portal to increase transparency and streamline access to our managed services as a way to bring client feedback to the forefront of our business. Two-way communication is key and we wanted to find the best approach to improve the client experience by gaining feedback directly from our clients.
With this in mind, Navisite kicked off the Proximity Client Portal Feedback Contest in which a panel of Navisite experts selected the top “Management Enhancement” and the top “Reporting Enhancement” suggestion provided by users. We were very happy to see the great suggestions flow in from our clients. Experts selected entries from UserVoice based on their applicability to Proximity users, potential impact on user experience and the ability to implement the suggestion within the year.
Top suggestions include:
Simplified management: Gene Ruffner of Interstate Hotels and Resorts also provided the winning Management Enhancement suggestion. Ruffner suggested Proximity should allow users to group related assets together for easier monitoring and management. Shortly after receiving this suggestion, the Proximity team was able to add Collections to the portal. Collections allow Proximity users to group assets together on demand, such as based on a shared business or technical purpose.
Enhanced Reporting: Additionally, Chaney Chua of GNC Consulting provided the winning Reporting Enhancement. Chua suggested augmenting reporting notifications within Proximity by enabling the portal to notify additional users when a ticket or incident is updated or closed. This functionality improves collaboration and simplifies sharing management responsibilities between users from the same company.
Designing and building services with our clients in mind enables us to address the unique needs and wants of each individual enterprise. Our Proximity Client Portal allows us to have direct insight into our clients and we continue to work hard to address, build and implement on their suggestions.
